A culture of high standards and excellence is not easy to come by in the world of aviation maintenance, and American Flyers is lucky to have an Inspection Authorized (IA) mechanic like Sebastian Agramont maintaining the standard each and every day. From trouble shooting discrepancies to conducting an annual inspection, our airplanes improve each time he opens up a cowling.

Born in Bolivia, Sebastian has always loved machines. Growing up, he studied art to be a car designer which turned into a path in engineering. Before long, Sebastian discovered his love for aviation and decided to combine his two biggest passions and earn his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. Sebastian joined American Flyers five years ago in the mechanic intern program, where he conducted 100-hour inspections and pursued his flight training. Shortly after obtaining his private pilot certificate, he elected to exit the internship and work as a full-time mechanic.

Today, Sebastian leads a team of mechanics and oversees the fleet at our Pompano Beach, FL location. He and his team continue to uphold a standard that is second to none in the aviation industry. Whether it’s a 50-hour oil change or a full annual inspection, each aircraft is more than just fixed, it is better than it was before. Next time you are in Pompano Beach, be sure to stop by the hangar and see what the standard of maintenance really should be.
