With a background in the US Marine Corps, where he served as a technician and electrician on the F-18 fighter jet, Joe has a unique set of skills and experiences that greatly contribute to his exceptional performance as an assistant chief pilot. Originally from the sunny state of California, his time in the Marine Corps undoubtedly left an indelible mark on his character and work ethic. The discipline instilled in him during his rigorous training and four years of service have molded him into the dedicated professional he is today.
After leaving the Marine Corps, Joe embarked on a new path, venturing into flight instructing as part of the Powered Flight Program. The program serves as the initial flight training for midshipmen from the United States Naval Academy, granting them the essential knowledge and skills required for a successful aviation career.
