The Military Transition Course is dedicated to assisting military personnel in achieving their civilian aviation goals. This is a high-quality, yet fast-paced course designed to prepare military pilots in current flying positions for a career as a professional pilot whether for a private charter company or a position with the airlines.
American Flyers is a world-class flight school with military training roots dating back to it’s founding in 1939. ATE had employed U.S. Military “Link Trainers”, perhaps the earliest effective flight simulators for civilian pilot training. Monty Montgomery was an early pioneer of civil aviation and was involved in the early development of radio navigation systems such as the VOR system in the 1930s. During WW-II, American Flyers was contracted by both, the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy to train military pilots in support of the United States war effort.
