How to Finance Your Flight Training: Loans, Grants, and Other Options

Exploring the Financial Path to Becoming a Pilot

Flight training is one of the most valuable investments you can make in your future. Whether you’re beginning your journey toward a private pilot certificate or working toward a career as an airline captain, the cost of training can feel overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be. At American Flyers, we offer a variety of financial resources, scholarships, and partnerships designed to make your aviation goals more affordable and accessible.

Here’s an updated guide to help you explore financing options for flight training at American Flyers.

  • Ground school instruction
  • Instructor-led flight training
  • Aircraft rental and simulator time
  • FAA testing fees
  • Materials such as books, headsets, and charts
