Cristal Amerson is the manager of our Houston school. A Florida native, Cristal went to Broward College where she studied for her career in business management. One of her first jobs before coming to American Flyers was in the Miami Dolphins ticket office. It was working in the ticket office where Cristal learned about customer service, and it is also where she developed her skills in sales.
Cristal began her career with American Flyers in Pompano Beach. There, she worked with Kasey King, the manager of our Pompano school, for 2 years. While in Pompano, Cristal worked closely with the Pompano team and developed an innate ability to take care of students while supporting our team members. When Andrea Surak moved from Houston to become the manager of our Addison North school, we asked Cristal if she wanted to become the next manager of Houston. We believed she would be able to continue the growth Andrea started while developing her own team.
Cristal made the move to Houston a year and a half ago and has done a wonderful job managing our location at the David Wayne Hooks Airport. Cristal has great attention to detail and is loyal to her team and to her students. These attributes are key to her growth and success. Outside of the office, Cristal loves to fish and hang out with her dog, Obi. She also loves cars; after all she drives a Dodge Challenger!
Cristal is a wonderful manager who is dedicated to personal growth and her people. We are incredibly proud of her and are excited about her future with American Flyers. Cristal, thank you for all that you do for American Flyers!!
