American Flyers operates six training facilities across the Arizona, New Jersey, Florida and Texas areas. With a fleet of over 55 aircraft, 25 simulators, along with over 200 dedicated instructors students are able to receive the best flight training in the industry has to offer around the world.

American Flyers has been training pilots for top airlines, corporations and governments worldwide since 1939. With over 80 years of experience, this level of training expertise is reflected in all courses offered at American Flyers.
Ian Dasho began his aviation career as a student at American Flyers in the early 2000’s. In 2005, he began working as a flight instructor, eventually becoming an Assistant Chief Pilot and then manager in 2006. In 2017, wanting to fly full time, and leaning on his experience at American Flyers, Ian took the leap and began working as an airline pilot. Ian now flies full time for Spirit Airlines domestically and abroad to South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Bob Ponti possesses over 25,000 hours of flight time and has extensive experience as an Airline Pilot and Pilot Examiner. Bob began his career with American Airlines in 1966. He came to American Flyers three years ago to share his knowledge with aspiring pilots.
