AMERICAN FLYERS SPOTLIGHT

I am currently working toward my ground instructor certificate to help bring me closer to my goal of flying fast jets to new and exciting destinations. My favorite part of working for American Flyers is my coworkers, who feel more like family than just teammates. I love training new pilots because I enjoy being able to watch them develop their skills and grow over the course of their training. Their progress and achievements make every moment of this journey special.

I’m currently working on my ATP certification in hopes of becoming an airline pilot. The best part of training new pilots is witnessing their growth and development. It’s incredibly rewarding to see their confidence build as they master new skills and become comfortable in the cockpit. The excitement of witnessing that ‘aha’ moment when complex concepts finally click is unmatched. The greatest aspect of working for American Flyers is the sense of community among passionate aviators.

My goal as a CFI is to develop skilled, confident pilots who respect the responsibility of flying. I aim to inspire a love for aviation while emphasizing continual learning and professionalism. The most rewarding part of training new pilots is witnessing their progress— from their first flight to mastering maneuvers. I love working at American Flyers for its collaborative environment, passionate team, and commitment to excellence, making every day fulfilling and inspiring.

My goal in aviation is to fly a variety of aircraft, become the best aviator I can be, and help develop exceptional pilots. I currently hold certifications as a CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI, IGI, CSEL, CMEL, and UAS instructor, and recently earned my gold seal CFI. The most rewarding part of training new pilots is preparing them for checkrides and hearing how confident they felt during the exam – I truly enjoy helping my students achieve their goals. I love working at American Flyers because my fellow instructors create such a positive work environment. I’ve learned tremendously from them, and they’ve helped me become a better instructor and pilot.

One of my favorite parts of working at American Flyers is not just my great coworkers, but also the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Hearing their unique stories and goals is incredibly rewarding. My goal in aviation is still a bit undecided, but I’m leaning toward either airlines or corporate flying. Currently, I’m focused on working toward my multi-engine rating. I love seeing students’ hard work pay off and witnessing the moment they realize how much they’ve grown, both in skill and confidence. It’s a great feeling knowing I’m part of their journey and watching them take the next steps in their aviation careers.

The team at American Flyers is fantastic—supportive, passionate, and always keeping training exciting. The pace of training keeps things exciting, with new challenges every day, from teaching landings in gusty winds to briefing for cross-country flights. My ultimate goal in aviation is to fly for the airlines, but in the meantime, I’d love to fly seaplanes and explore the great outdoors. One of my favorite parts of training new pilots is watching them step into a whole new world, where the sky becomes their limit. It’s incredible seeing them shift from hesitation to instinct and take control with confidence.

Building flight hours is my current focus as I work toward my dream of becoming an airline pilot for Southwest Airlines, where I hope to one day fly alongside my mom, a flight attendant. Watching new pilots bring together their hard work and training to reach their goals is my favorite part of the training process. I love being part of the American Flyers team because everyone here is genuinely supportive and committed to helping one another succeed.
