Expand Your Sport Pilot Flight Limits with American Flyers

The FAA’s new Modernization of Special Airworthiness Requirements (MOSAIC) rule has arrived, significantly expanding the privileges and capabilities of Sport Pilots. This landmark ruling changes previous limitations, enabling Sport Pilots to fly further and longer than ever before. Specifically, the expanded privileges include the ability to fly after sunset, navigate complex controlled airspace like Class B, C, and D, and master larger, four-seat aircraft such as the Cessna 172 or Piper Pilot 100i

While other schools may offer basic endorsements, American Flyers has specialized, MOSAIC-ready training designed to ensure you don’t just meet the new minimum requirements—you fly safer, more confident and with proficiency in your expanded capabilities.
